Starting out as a small handful of people spearheaded by Mary Kaye Washburn, it has grown from roadside clean-ups and promotional rack cards to a large volunteer organization operating a foodbank, resource fairs, tourism development, and beautification main street projects.

As an offshoot of these efforts, the organization qualified the towns of Overton and Logandale as official Nevada Main Streets under the title of Moapa Valley Main Street. This allows the community to open the door to additional grant opportunities and support from the County and State.
